OUr cOLLABORATIONS

Mologic is collaborating in the following areas:

* Quorum Sensing in Wounds: BBSRC CASE funded student with Professor Paul Williams' group at Nottingham University, researching into the role of bacterial quorum sensing in wounds.

* Polydiacetylene Polymers: BBSRC CASE funded studentship with Professor Graeme Cooke at Glasgow University, researching into novel polydiacetylene polymers for use as reusable diagnostic reporter molecules.

* Synthetic Cell Wall Components: EPSRC for CTA supported PhD student working at Warwick University, researching into preparation and characterisation and use of synthetic cell wall components of bacteria, including MRSA and VRSA.

* Glycoprotein Recognition: BBSRC CASE funded studentship with Professor Robert Field at John Innes Centre, Norwich, researching into glycoprotein recognition - fundamentals and diagnostics. This studentship is in great need of a bright graduate seeking further academic development.

* Role of hCG in Choricarcinoma Development: Jointly funded by The University of Dundee and NSCAG Scotland, this research scientist will working with the Dundee Immunology Group and will be studying the role of hCG in the development of choriocarcinoma. This cements our relationship with the Immunology Group, and our commitment to a longer term relationship.
